Agua Fresca literally translates to “Fresh Water.” In practice, these actually are refreshing low-cal fruit coolers made from blended fruit and water, often with the addition of citrus juice. Depending on the natural sweetness of the fruit, sugar or honey is added.
TIP: On really hot days (or after a super sweaty yoga class), add a pinch of sea salt. Not only does it bring out the flavor of the fruit, but it also sneaks in a some much needed electrolytes to replenish your stores.
